X MARKS THE SPOT.......
Today is 'X' Day in my Alphabetical Resoluting..In 2012, I'm Resolved to take Passion for serving others & the Church to an Xtreme level! Like an Xtension ladder, I want to Xtend myself & 'Rise above Xpectations....Xalting Him like I Alt (ought) to, Xercising my body & Xorcising my demons,, Xpressing myself to God & Others while Pressing on toward the mark for the Prize of the High Calling of God in Jesus Christ. (Phil. 3:14)...Giving a little Xtra that I might be Xtraordinary at something beneficial, even though my wife says, "Get yourself X-Rayed and see what people see in you!" LOL...Xpounding on a healthier lifestyle by shedding 30 pounds...
Remembering that I don't hafta be an eXSpurt, cause an EX is a 'has-been' & a Spurt is a 'drip' under pressure...LOL
Just read about a Persian king named Xerxes, who ruled Persia from 486-465. He commanded an army approaching a million in number, and once after failing to cross the Hellenesport in Greece, due to a storm & bridge failure, actually had the waters lashed by his men.. Even putting shackles on the water....Oh well, I guess we all do stupid things, but that was as ridiculous as anything I ever read...Like the guy that ran into a tree & blamed the tree! LOL...
Praying that those with X-Rated mouths will reconsider their word choices, and the Xtent of the impact on others...The English language has So Many Great.... Uplifting & Positive Words!
