Many are awakening this New Day to a New blanket of Snow, making everything look New...Speaking of New, I like the song, I'LL HAVE A NEW BODY...But just because our earthly body is wearing out, doesn't mean our spirits have to wear out: I love Colossians 3:10: "And have put on the NEW man, which is reNEWed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him." Other songs with 'N' words that inspire me: NEARER MY GOD TO THEE, NO NOT ONE, NEAR THE CROSS, NEAR TO THE HEART OF GOD, & NOW I BELONG TO JESUS ( I've heard that last one sung thousands of times in my life)...NEARLY always sung when a person is 'Baptized into Christ'. But, let's look at a few scriptures with 'N' words on this Fab Friday....
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a 'NEW' creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become NEW.(2 Cor. 5:17)
"There is NEITHER Jew NOR Greek, there is NEITHER bond NOR free, there is NEITHER male NOR female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Gal. 3:28)
"Bur whosoever shall drink of the water that I shall give him, shall NEVER thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a 'well of water' springing up into Everlasting Life." (John 4:14)
"God is Light and in Him is NO darkness at all." (1 John 1:5)..."If we say we have NO sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is NOT in us. (1 John 1:8)
"There is NONE other NAME under Heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
"So teach us to NUMBER our days, that we might apply our hearts to wisdom." (Eph. 6:4)
"How shall we escape, if we NEGLECT so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him. (Hebrews 2:3)
"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the Divine NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4)
"And that knowing the time, that NOW it is high time to awake out of sleep: for NOW is our salvation NEARER than when we first believed." (Rom. 13:11)
Thomas said he wouldn't believe that Jesus had resurrected: "Except I shall see in His hands the print of the NAILS, and put my finger in the print of the NAILS, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe." (John 20:25)...When Jesus came near, all Thomas could say was: "My Lord and My God!" (verse 28)...Praise God for the NURTURE of the Holy Scriptures! Amen.
