'I' Words...26 Days of Alphabetical Resoluting....

PRAYING HE COMES INTO OUR HEARTS & STEPS...

Remembering all those days when a 'week of camp' would end at CCYC, where we lived for 31 years. It was nearly always a 'time for tears', ..Those that had cried to go home the previous Sunday, could now be seen crying because they had to go home. Saddened that they would be leaving behind friends, they now felt like they had know all their lives, but 'Tears of Joy' also, for they now felt closer to God than they ever had, and were as 'INSPIRED' as they had ever been, with a Hundred 'new songs' & a Thousand 'new memories' now locked in their heart & mind....One 'Last Thing' to do before leaving the mountain: Campers & Faculty joining hands in a 'Big Circle' (Often over 100 strong), linking hands & hearts as they sang:
INTO my Heart! INTO my Heart!
Come INTO my Heart Lord Jesus...
Come IN today...
Come IN to stay....
Come INTO my Heart Lord Jesus....( The campers would then turn 'Outward & sing the song again), changing the 'IN' to 'Out', as they looked out off Baldwin Mountain,changing the 'Come' to 'Go'... signifying that they would be taking Jesus with them as they went back to their homes, and schools & world... ready to tackle any problem, or swat away any 'fiery dart' that Satan might throw at them...

Today IS 'I' Day IN 26 days of Alphabetical Resoluting...I am Resolving that I don't want to have an IDLE mind, and absolutely don't want an IDOL on my mind! lol...INSTEAD, let me be like David in Psalm 119:112; "I have INCLINED my heart to do Your statutes forever."....At least for 2012, if God allows me to live... & INHERIT eternal life with our IMMANUEL, IF not...

Jesus said in Revelation 22:16: "I, Jesus, have sent my Angel to testify unto you these things in the Churches, I Am the Root & Offspring of David, and The Bright And Morning Star."....Jesus is the Best 'I' Salve known to us mortals, and will enable all of us to Look on the 'Bright Side' of any situation.

When the disciples were frightened out of their wits, when the violent storm came on them as they were crossing the Sea of Galilee in a ship, not so much by the storm, but by Jesus, who was walking on the water toward them, and they thought Him to be a ghost..."IT IS I," Jesus said..."Be not afraid!"....Jesus calmed that storm, and isn't it true that sometimes, Jesus Calms the Storm & Sometimes, He 'Calms His Child'...& lets the Storm Rage!

Peter said IN 1 Peter 1:4: "He gives an INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE & Undefiled, Reserved IN Heaven For You."

There was 'No Room IN the INN' for Jesus when He was Born, but Certainly we can 'Make Room IN our Hearts & Minds' for the One who INSPIRES Scripture ...And Us, and as Paul said in Romans 1:20, "The INVISIBLE things of God are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, so that we are without excuse.

Jesus will say to the Sheep on that day when He arrives, Blazing in His Beauty with His Angels: "I was Hungry & You Fed Me...I was Thirsty & you gave Me Drink...I was Homeless & you gave Me a Room...I was Shivering & you gave ME Clothes...I was Sick & you Stopped to Visit...I was IN Prison & you came to see Me...

Praying we are All 'IN Christ' this second Lord's Day of 2012, and 'Every Day' that God allows us to live on His Footstool. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
