Day 7...G Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resoluting....

GOD is GREAT; GOD is GOOD...Let us thank Him for our food. For most of us, we cut our teeth on this little rhyming prayer. Most assuredly, GOD is GOOD & today, the Lord's Day, is G Day in my 26 days of Alphabetical Resoluting... I'm resolving to be GOOD at faithfully praising GOD in 2018...YEP!

"GREAT is our God, and GREATLY to be praised." (Psalm 48:1..And as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:31:
"Whether therefore, you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the GLORY OF GOD...

It's not for our GLORY, but the GLORY of our Creator...As James said in James 1:7:
"Every GOOD GIFT, and every GREAT GIFT is from above, and comes down from the Father Of Lights."..

GLORY to GOD in The Highest!

But, if you think about it, how can we be GOOD, without GIVING, and GIVING has it's reward, for our Lord proclaims, "GIVE and it will be GIVEN unto you, Full Measure, pressed down and running over, shall the Lord press into your bosom."...

A GOOD friend of mine is often saying, "There are two kinds of people: GIVERS & Takers, but if we do as GOD wants us to, we'll be GIVERS & GETTERS, especially of the things that really matter.

"With all your GETTING, GET Understanding." (Proverbs 4:7)

GLORIOUS GOD, I ask not for GOLD, or any other thing that will soon perish, but rather, that all the GUYS & GALS reading this will find GRACE in your sight, knowing Your Son has already conquered the GRAVE, and has ascended back to GLORY, but knowing that he GAVE us marching orders before He ascended: "GO ye into all the world and preach the GOSPEL to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." 
(MARK 16:15-16)

Praying that we have all obeyed this command, and please GRANT, O GOD, that we will all come to realize that "GODLINESS with Contentment, is GREAT GAIN." 
(1 Timothy 6:6)...
