Day 18...Q Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'

Resolving to QUIT like a man in 2018......Today is Day 18...Q Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'
For this is what the Apostle Paul instructs us to do in 1 Corinthians 6:13: "QUIT you like men."...But reading the context in which he wrote, guided by the Holy Spirit of course, Paul is encouraging us to be strong and never give up! 

With this in mind, I am resolving to be a QUITTER in 2018...
Perhaps we all need to be like my good friend Coach Don Newberry, who was always saying:
QUITCHERBELYACHIN' ....LOL..In other words: MAN UP!

One other thing I resolve to do in 2018 (A continuation since I became a Christian.) is to take time to spend QUIET time with God through prayer, Bible study & hymn singing...
(But if I do it when others are around, pretty sure I will hear: "Be QUIET!"...LOL..)

"Be QUIET and know that I am God. I will be honored among all the nations. I will be supreme in all the earth."
Ps. 46:10...
Great reasons to be QUIET don't you think? God needs to be supreme and honored above all.

"The words of a wise man are heard in QUIET more than the city of him who rules over fools."
Ecclesiastes 9:17...

But the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you. 
Romans 8:11...

I want to be like the psalmist: 
"This is my comfort in my affliction; for Thy Word has QUICKENED me. 
Psalm 119:50..

May God QUICKEN a QUIET & QUITFUL spirit in each of us in 2018...And Beyond...

(I know QUITFUL is not found in Webster's, but it ought to be perhaps.)...Or perhaps not...LOL
