Day 15..O Words in 26 Days of A. R.

ON this Monday, January the 15th, 2018...Day 15 in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin I am resolving to be an OVERCOMER, not because today is MLK Day, when many remember his followers marched in Washington.(Jan 15, 1957)... & many remember his I Have A Dream, We Shall OVERCOME speech at the Lincoln Memorial..
(Which was riveting by the way)...
But because of something I just read in Revelation 2:7:
"To 'Him' that OVERCOMETH, will I give to Eat OF the Tree OF Life, which is in the midst OF the Paradise of God."...
What a Promise from Jesus! Makes me want to sing
'O How I Love Jesus' this Monday morning...O Happy Day!
But let's look at some OVERCOMING Scriptures that have 'O' words...
"Let us come boldly to the throne OF grace, that we may OBTAIN Mercy, and find Grace to help in time OF need."
(Heb.4:16)..
"And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled Himself, and became OBEDIENT to the point of death, even the death of the cross."
(Phil. 2:8)
"For there is ONE God, and ONE Mediator between God and man, the Man, Christ Jesus."
1 Tim. 2:5)
"Which of you by Worrying can add ONE Cubit to his stature?
(Mat. 6:27).....
(In Bible times, a Cubit was measured from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow, which was generally considered to be 17 to 22 inches) ....
"ONLY let your Conduct be Worthy of the Gospel OF Christ, so that whether I come and see you OR am absent, I may hear OF your affairs, that you 'stand Fasf' in ONE spirit, with ONE mind, striving Together for the faith OF the gospel."
(Phil. 1:27)
"For all the law is fulfilled in ONE word, even in this: "You shall Love your Neighbor as Yourself."
(Gal. 5:14)
"Finally, 'All of You' be OF ONE mind, having compassion; love as brothers, be tenderhearted... be courteous."
(1 Peter 3:8)
"And I heard, as it were, the voice OF a great multitude, as the sound OF many waters and as the sound OF many thunderings, saying, "Allelujah!,For The Lord God OMNIPOTENT Reigns!"
(Rev. 19:6)...
Reasons to be OVERJOYED & OVERCOME temptation....
not ONLY today, but 'every day' in 2018....
Like the Martin Luther King marchers, let us also proclaim:
We Shall OVERCOME!
Hope & Pray that a preacher will read this
in OUR OBITUARY when we pass to glory...
