Today is 'X' Day in my Alphabetical Resoluting..In 2018, I'm Resolved to take Passion for serving others & the Church to an XTREME level! 
Like an XTENSION ladder, I want to XTEND myself & 'Rise above XPECTATIONS....
XALTING Him while XERCISING my body, XORCISING my demons...So many X-words!
& XERTING myself to XPRESS my thoughts and actions in 2018...
"Pressing on toward the mark for the Prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ." (Phil. 3:14)...

Giving a little XTRA that I might be XTRAORDINARILY Kind and Helpful.... Even though my wife says:
"Get yourself X-RAYED and see what people see in you!" LOL..

XPOUNDING on a healthier lifestyle while X-ING out 40 pounds...Hey! Anything's possible with God's help!

Remembering that I don't hafta be an EX-Spurt, cause an EX is a 'has-been' ....& a Spurt is a 'Drip' under pressure...LOL

Just read about a Persian king named XERXES, who ruled Persia from 486-465. He commanded an army approaching a million in number, and once after failing to cross the Hellenesport in Greece, due to a storm & bridge failure, XERXES actually had the waters lashed by his men.. Even putting shackles on the water...XCENTRIC I reckon!

Praying that those with X-RATED mouths will reconsider their word choices, and the XTENT the impact of their word choices have on others...The English language has So Many Great.... Uplifting & Positive Words!

Day 25...Y words in 26 Days of A. R.

'Y' Day...in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resoluting for January the 25th...2018...When I think of Y, I think of YOU, and God does too: "See, I have engraved YOU on the Palms of my Hands; YOUR Walls are Ever before Me. (Isaiah 49:16)...At Calvary, Jesus engraved us with nails in His palms.
Thinking with certainty that when Jesus gave The Great Commission that His command to "Go YE...also applies to Go me...& Go YOU...LOL...True, for Jesus did indeed say this before ascending back to Heaven to be reunited with His Father God..In preparing for this post, I listened to Elvis Presley sing 

YOU SEND ME...Pretty sure that Elvis was thinking about a romantic send-off into la-la- land instead of in a spiritual sense...LOL...But Elvis could make everyone feel YOUNG at heart with his soulful voice. 
I also listened to Elvis sing the nostalgic song YESTERDAY. We all have a tendency to dwell on the past (Throwback Thursdays...?)... when times were less fast-paced, and perhaps a little gentler on our mind........

But we (YOU) must 'Go Forward'...Today, Thursday the 25th, is the Tomorrow we (YOU) worried about YESTERDAY. LOL

There are a few songs with Y words that I love, like the chorus, YOU ARE MY GOD, which is so very awe-inspiring. Also, the song At Calvary, which starts off: 
YEARS I spent in vanity & pride; caring not my Lord was crucified....Praying that YOU & I both care today...God cared enough to send His Very Best to redeem mankind back to Him..... 

Genesis 3:5: "The Serpent said to the woman, 'YOU surely will not die!...For God knows that in the day YOU eat from it YOUR eyes will be opened, and YOU will be like God."

Satan was speaking to Eve in the Garden of Eden of course. This was the 'first' temptation, for as we (YOU) know, Eve did eat of the 'One' tree God said not to...Probably an Apple Tree...When Adam & Eve partook, mankind lost the close loving relationship with our Creator...Opening the door for 'Sin'..(transgression of God's Law) to enter the world...

Causing God to provide a way through His Son, and His Holy Bible to Redeem (Buy Back!) His 'Crowning Creation'...YOU & even me! Praise God!

Psalm 90:4: For a thousand YEARS in YOUR sight are like YESTERDAY when it passes by, or as a watch in the night.

Psalm 65:11: YOU have crowned the YEAR with YOUR bounty, and YOUR paths drip with fatness.

Matt.6:19-21: Do not store up for YOURSELVES treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for YOURSELVES treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where YOUR treasure is, there YOUR heart will be also....

Feeling confident that 'All Christians' take to heart the following admonition I saw on a church sign once:

Matt. 11:29-30: Take my YOKE upon YOU and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU will find rest for YOUR souls, for my YOKE is easy and my burden is light. 

(There is No comparison between the YOKE of Sin and the YOKE of God...The first brings misery & death..... the second, Joy & Life, both Now & Forever!)

The Apostle Peter mentions those that have turned away from God, and compares them to a sow that has been WASHED... returning to her WALLOWING in the mire. (2 Peter 2:22)...

Praying WE WILL look to God today and WORSHIP Him on this WONDERFUL day God has given us.

Romans 8:25: But if WE hope for that WE see not, then do WE WITH patience WAIT for it.

In the Garden, Jesus told His disciples to WATCH WHILE He WENT into the Garden to pray...WHEN He returned HE found them asleep, and said,

The Apostle Paul proclaimed in 1 Cor. 15:57: "But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ."... Today, Monday, January 22, 2018, is V Day...Please consider that Christ has already won the VICTORY. All we have to do is claim it...On His Terms...VERILY! VERILY! 

The Lily Of The VALLEY, Peace In The  VALLEY.... & VICTORY In Jesus are three of my 'Favorite' songs....
Psalm 98:1: O Sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm hath gotten Him the VICTORY.

1 John 5:4: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the VICTORY that overcometh the world, even our Faith.

2 Tim. 2:21: If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a VESSEL unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and prepared for every good work.

Psalm 127:1: Except the Lord build the House, they labor in VAIN that build it; except the Lord keep the City, the Watchman waketh, but in VAIN.

1 Peter 1: 18: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from your VAIN conversation received by tradition from your fathers.

Exodus 20:7: Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in VAIN; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in VAIN. 

(So desire that my friends would only use God's name  in praise...

Using it in VAIN makes me shudder and shake my head, but God also, for He is Listening & on the Day of Judgment, we will give account for every idle or profane word...(Matthew 12:36)....

Peace be UNTO U..Just read the lyrics to the song, UNWORTHY, one verse goes: Amazed that a King would reach down to His slave-This love I cannot UNDERSTAND...
UNDER HIS WINGS is another U words song that touches the heartstrings....Day 21..U Words...2018
Jesus cried over Jerusalem and said, "How often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood UNDER her wings, and ye would not!"...
I read of a Firefighter that discovered the charred remains of a bird after a forest fire. Upon touching the remains, he said it brought tears of joy to his face to see three pairs of eyes staring up at him.

(The mother had sacrificed her life, knowing that her brood couldn't fly, to protect them UNDER her wings.)
Jesus offers this Amazing Love, and like the song, THE UNCLOUDY DAY, which tells US there will be no Clouds or Sorrow in Heaven. 
Comforting to think about on the Lord's Day, but every day is the Lord's Day...And UNIQUE it its own right...

2 Cor.9:15: Thanks be UNTO God for His UNSPEAKABLE Gift.

Heb. 13:1: Let brotherly love continue; Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained Angels UNAWARES.

Psalm 47:7: For God is King of all the Earth: Sing ye praises with UNDERSTANDING.

Jude 15: To execute judgment UPON all, and to convince all that are UNGODLY among them of all UNGODLY deeds which they have UNGODLY committed, and of all their hard speeches which UNGODLY sinners have spoken against him.

Day 20..T Words in 26 Days of A. R.

My 'T' Words Resolution for January 20, 2018 is THE same as Proverbs 3:5: 

TRUST in THE Lord with all THINE heart; and lean not on THINE own understanding...Just knowing, THAT if I could kick THAT feller in THE rear THAT'S causing me THE 'Most' TROUBLE,....I wouldn't be able TO sit down for TEN TOMORROWS...LOL...

Recalling some TREMENDOUS Hymns that TOUCH my Heart Strings:                          TELL ME THE OLD OLD STORY, TELL ME THE STORY OF JESUS, THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD, THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING, TO GOD BE THE GLORY, THEY SHALL KNOW WE ARE CHRISTIANS BY OUR LOVE, TRUST AND OBEY, & TAKE TIME TO BE HOLY...

Speaking of TIME, I'm TOLD that Queen Elizabeth said THIS on her death bed: 

"All my Possessions for 'One More Minute of TIME',"...Seems TO me THAT we all get suckered into THINKING THAT we're going to live forever on THIS earth...

Sadly, I was in the hospital room when my Dad TOOK his last breath. It was just ba few minutes after my Dad asked the doctor this question under labored breath (My Dad was dying of Emphysema.) "How much TIME do I have left Doc?"...THAT question haunts me still, over two decades later. The doctor couldn't understand what my Dad was asking & Dad mustered all the energy he had to repeat the question..

The good doctor stepped back, and said, "Well, Mr. Fields, nobody knows that. It could be an hour , a day, a week...No one but God knows THAT.".....TURNED out it was just a few more minutes...O how I wished that I could have breathed for my Dad, just as he had wished he could breathe for me when I was about TEN years old and appeared to be dying on Christmas Eve at our house at Harman, Virginia. My Dad had walked down the road in the snow to get the Harman Mining Company Physician. Joyfully, after Dr. Sutherland gave me a shot of adrenaline, I went to sleep w/o wheezing & was even able to go for a short sleigh ride the next day.

Ecclesiastes 3:1: "TO every THING THERE is a season, and a TIME TO every purpose under heaven."..

And then THE writer says in Ecclesiastes 9: 10-12:

THAT TIME and Chance happen TO us all, and THAT whatever our hand find TO do, TO do it with 'All our Might'...For man knows not his TIME.

Psalm 126:5: THEY THAT sew in TEARS shall Reap in Joy.

Psalm 56:8a: THOU TELLEST my wanderings; put my TEARS into THY bottle.

James 1:13: Let no man say when he is TEMPTED, I am TEMPTED of God; for God cannot be TEMPTED with evil, neither TEMPTETH He any man.

Hebrews 9:16-17: For where a TESTAMENT is, THERE must also of necessity be the death of THE TESTATOR; For a TESTAMENT is of force after men are dead; otherwise, it is of no strength at all while THE TESTATOR liveth.

Jesus gave THE TERMS of pardon TO receive Salvation in His 'Great Commission' as recorded by the Gospel writers)...But since the Book of Acts TELLS how it began TO be carried out, THE 'New TESTAMENT, or Will, was revealed here by the Apostles, & especially Luke, who addresses the Book of Luke TO THEOPHILUS, which means 'Lover of God'...Hope & Pray THAT would be us!

Luke 6:32: For if ye love THEM which love you, what THANK have ye? For sinners also love THOSE THAT love THEM.

2 Cor. 5:17: THEREFORE, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old THINGS are passed away; behold, all THINGS are become new.

Rev. 22:14: Blessed are THEY THAT do His commandments, THAT THEY might have a right TO THE TREE of Life, and may enter in THROUGH THE gates into THE City.

Psalm 119:59: I THOUGHT on my ways, and TURNED my feet unto THY TESTIMONIES.

The 'Only' way to flee from Satan, of course, is to SPEND Quality time with the SHEPHERD and His SHEEP, while SINGING SPIRITUAL SONGS of Praise, SUPPING with The SAVIOR...& STUDYING the Holy SCRIPTURES...There is a beautiful mat on CCYC's Dining Room porch that reads STOMP OUT SATAN...Wagering that SIXTILLION feet have been STOMPED on that mat...LOL, for I put it there over 30 years ago...LOL...And it still looks SUPER!

Alphabetical Resoluting with R words...Day 18-2018...

Jesus RESOLVED that He would RETURN again and RECEIVE us unto Himself. At His Ascension, when He was RECEIVED up into a Cloud to the Heavenly REALM, two Angels affirmed to the Apostles that Jesus would so RETURN as they had seen Him ascend...OK...RISE...LOL
Looking forward to RISING to meet Him in the Air'...so I'm also RESOLVING to RETURN to the One Who has the 'Words of Life...Once A Day, Every Day, All Day Long....Today & 'Every Day' in 2018...
We need to RENEW our vows to Him Thu'R'sday & eveRy day.

REMINDS me that all scripture is inspired by God and as Paul & the Holy Spirit REVEAL in 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17, is profitable for REPROOF and training in RIGHTEOUSNESS, that the man of God might be perfect (complete) thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

REVELATION 3:3: REMEMBER therefore, how thou hast RECEIVED and heard, and hold fast and REPENT; If therefore, thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

1 Corinthians 9:24: Know ye not that they which RUN in a RACE RUN all, but one RECEIVETH the prize? 
So RUN, that ye may obtain.

ROMANS 1:17: For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God REVEALED from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Day 18...Q Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'

Resolving to QUIT like a man in 2018......Today is Day 18...Q Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'
For this is what the Apostle Paul instructs us to do in 1 Corinthians 6:13: "QUIT you like men."...But reading the context in which he wrote, guided by the Holy Spirit of course, Paul is encouraging us to be strong and never give up! 

With this in mind, I am resolving to be a QUITTER in 2018...
Perhaps we all need to be like my good friend Coach Don Newberry, who was always saying:
QUITCHERBELYACHIN' ....LOL..In other words: MAN UP!

One other thing I resolve to do in 2018 (A continuation since I became a Christian.) is to take time to spend QUIET time with God through prayer, Bible study & hymn singing...
(But if I do it when others are around, pretty sure I will hear: "Be QUIET!"...LOL..)

"Be QUIET and know that I am God. I will be honored among all the nations. I will be supreme in all the earth."
Ps. 46:10...
Great reasons to be QUIET don't you think? God needs to be supreme and honored above all.

"The words of a wise man are heard in QUIET more than the city of him who rules over fools."
Ecclesiastes 9:17...

But the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you. 
Romans 8:11...

I want to be like the psalmist: 
"This is my comfort in my affliction; for Thy Word has QUICKENED me. 
Psalm 119:50..

May God QUICKEN a QUIET & QUITFUL spirit in each of us in 2018...And Beyond...

Resolving today that I will PROMOTE the PURE, the POWERFUL & PRAISEWORTHY to PEOPLE I PASS in 2018.

I know this, but being human & older, I am apt to forget and let things slide sometimes...LOL..

PLEASE not in 2018 All POWERFUL God, because of Your PASSOVER Lamb without spot or blemish, Jesus Christ.

Day 15..O Words in 26 Days of A. R.

ON this Monday, January the 15th, 2018...Day 15 in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin I am resolving to be an OVERCOMER, not because today is MLK Day, when many remember his followers marched in Washington.(Jan 15, 1957)... & many remember his I Have A Dream, We Shall OVERCOME speech at the Lincoln Memorial..
(Which was riveting by the way)...
But because of something I just read in Revelation 2:7:

"To 'Him' that OVERCOMETH, will I give to Eat OF the Tree OF Life, which is in the midst OF the Paradise of God."...
What a Promise from Jesus! Makes me want to sing  
'O How I Love Jesus' this Monday morning...O Happy Day!

But let's look at some OVERCOMING Scriptures that have 'O' words...

Many are awakening this NEW Day to a NEW blanket of Snow, making everything look NEW...NOT us...NOT NOW, but it is wiNtertime...We might be NEXT...LOL...Speaking of NEW, I like the song, I'll Have A NEW Body...
Just because our earthly body is wearing out, doesn't mean our spirits have to wear out....NO! NO! NO!....NEVER!

( I've heard that last one sung thousands of times in my life)...NEARLY always sung when a person is 'Baptized into Christ'. burying the old man to put on the NEW...

Let's KEEP on KEEPING on...But If you try a little KINDNESS, then you'll overlook the blindness...of the narrow-minded people...on the narrow-minded street. (Line from Glenn Campbell's song, Sunflower)..That being said, I am resolving today, (Thursday) to be more KINDLY affectioned toward one another, as Paul said in Romans 12:10...Just KNOWING that Jesus made a Resolution when He said, "I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also. (John 14:3)...
100% Positive Jesus will KEEP His Resolution...Praying that I will keep all 26 of mine as I Post Day 11 in my 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'...'K' Words...

I've heard it said that if God had a refrigerator that our picture would be on it. LOL...as if God would ever need such a thing.

LOVE may not make the world go around, but it does make the trip worthwhile......Today is L Day in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin''...  
Just knowing that for a child, LOVE is spelled TIME...& LIKELY for adults as well...We 'Take Time' for those we LIKE or LOVE...LOL

It may be corny, but I actually do try to think about God 24/7. At night, I go to sleep praying the alphabet & when I awaken during the night several times, I pick up at the LETTER I was on when sleep overtook me...Works for LARRY! 

Paul said in 2 Timothy that in the LAST days men would be LOVERS of their own selves & LOVERS of pleasure more than LOVERS of GOD....

Praying that we will LAY aside every weight, as Paul instructs in Heb. 12:1... & Run with Patience the Race that is set before us! Godspeed!

JUMPING FOR JOY beats JUMPING to Conclusions....LOL....(Day 10 WINSday 1-10- 2018 Alphabetical Resolutin'...J Words.)
JUMPING over virtues like kindness & helpfulness....JUST ain't right!.... To say or write something that might be considered hurtful, or JUDGMENTAL....JUNK that!...But I do love to JUMP on my Rebounder or Mini-Tramp...(Bob Hope lived to be 100 & had one in every room of his house...Wow!)
My JUMPING is actually a gentle bounce, in my old age, w/o my feet leaving the Rebounder...LOL) ...
But let's JUMP Ahead....

Micah 6:8..."What does the Lord require of you, but to do JUSTLY, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.....JUST knowing that JESUS said in Matthew 12:37 that we will be JUSTIFIED... or condemned...by our words.

JUST knowing also, that if I'm not going to JUMP to conclusions, I desperately need to think on the six things that Paul told the Phillipians in Phillipians 4:8....
Paul said to Think on whatevever things that are true, honest, JUST, pure, lovely, & of good report...

Isaiah 59:4 says,"None calleth for JUSTICE"...

Remembering that my Dad was wont to say that we don't want JUSTICE, We Want Mercy! Amen.

JUST knowing also that God has offered us all Mercy & Grace through His Son, who said in JOHN 12:48:

Day 9...I Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resolutin'....

 
Remembering all those days when a 'week of camp' would end at CCYC, where we lived for 31 years. It was nearly always a 'time for tears', ..Those that had cried to go home the previous Sunday, could now be seen crying because they had to go home. Saddened that they would be leaving behind friends, they now felt like they had know all their lives, but 'Tears of Joy' also, for they now felt closer to God than they ever had, and were as 'INSPIRED' as they had ever been, with a Hundred 'new songs' & a Thousand 'new memories' now locked in their heart & mind....One 'Last Thing' to do before leaving the mountain: Campers & Faculty joining hands in a 'Big Circle' (Often over 100 strong), linking hands & hearts as they sang:

INTO my Heart! INTO my Heart!
Come INTO my Heart Lord Jesus...
Come IN today...
Come IN to stay....
Come INTO my Heart Lord Jesus....

( The campers would then turn 'Outward & sing the song again), changing the 'IN' to 'Out', as they looked out off Baldwin Mountain,changing the 'Come' to 'Go'... signifying that they would be taking Jesus with them as they went back to their homes, and schools & world... ready to tackle any problem, or swat away any 'fiery dart' that Satan might throw at them.)..

Today IS 'I' Day IN 26 days of Alphabetical Resoluting...I am Resolving that I don't want to have an IDLE mind, and absolutely don't want an IDOL on my mind! lol...INSTEAD, let me be like David in Psalm 119:112:    "I have INCLINED my heart to do Your statutes forever."....

At least for 2018, if God allows me to live... & INHERIT eternal life with our IMMANUEL, IF not...

Jesus said in Revelation 22:16: 

"I, Jesus, have sent my Angel to testify unto you these things IN the Churches, I Am the Root & Offspring of David, and The Bright And Morning Star."....Jesus IS the Best 'I' Salve known to us mortals, and will enable all of us to Look on the 'Bright Side' of any situation.

When the disciples were frightened out of their wits, when the violent storm came on them as they were crossing the Sea of Galilee in a ship, not so much by the storm, but by Jesus, who was walking on the water toward them, and they thought Him to be a ghost...

"IT IS I," Jesus said..."Be not afraid!"....Jesus calmed that storm, and ISN'T IT true that sometimes, Jesus Calms the Storm & Sometimes, He 'Calms His Child'...& lets the Storm Rage!

Peter said IN 1 Peter 1:4: "He gives an INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE & Undefiled, Reserved IN Heaven For You."

There was 'No Room IN the INN' for Jesus when He was Born, but Certainly we can 'Make Room IN our Hearts & Minds' for the One who INSPIRES All Scripture ...And Us, and has All Authority in Heaven and on Earth...as Paul said in Romans 1:20:

"The INVISIBLE things of God are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, so that we are without excuse.

Jesus will say to the Sheep on that day when He arrives, Blazing in His Beauty with His Angels:

"I was Hungry & You Fed Me...

I was Thirsty & you gave Me Drink...

I was Homeless & you gave Me a Room...

I was Shivering & you gave ME Clothes...

I was Sick & you Stopped to Visit...

I was IN Prison & you came to see Me...

I hope to be INCLUDED with the Sheep...& Not the Goats, don't you?

HI! HELLO! HOWDY! HOW ya doin'? HOPING things are HUMMING right along at your HOUSE this Monday, the 8th day of the New Year of 2018... or should I say HOME? Sounds better doesn't it? Probably because it takes a HEAP of Loving to make a HOUSE a HOME...LOL...

And as John said, "Beloved, I wish above all things, that you might prosper, and be in HEALTH, even as your soul prospers." (3 John 2)

In the shadow of HIS HAND HE HAS concealed me; and HAS also made me a 'Select Arrow'. HE HAS HIDDEN me in HIS Quiver. (Isaiah 49:2 NASB)...

When I was a kid, growing up at HARMAN, Virginia, in the 40's & 50's, Dr. J.P. Sutherland HAD this sign on HIS wall: 
THE BEST PLACE TO FIND A HELPING HAND IS AT THE END OF YOUR OWN ARM...

I thought about that a lot while receiving HUNDREDS of Shots from that HUMBLE Doctor, who HELPED many thousands, and was a devout Christian.

"The HEAVENS declare the Glory of God, and the firmament shows HIS HANDIWORK." (Psalms 19:1)...

The Mighty HAND OF GOD Created it all! HALLELUJAH!...

"I will HOPE continually, and yet praise Thee more and more." (Psalms 71:14)

Jesus said, "If any man HONOR Me, HIM I will HONOR," (John 12:26) ....and HIS brother James said, "HUMBLE yourself in the sight of the Lord and HE shall lift you up." (James 4:10)...

HOPING to be among the Blessed Jesus referred to in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5:6:

"Blessed are they who HUNGER & Thirst after Righteousness."

'Today, if you HEAR my Voice, HARDEN not your HEART," Paul said, quoting Jesus in HEBREWS 3:15...

& Jesus also said in Luke 8:18:

"Take HEED HOW you HEAR."

Let us HOLD Fast & put on the HELMET of Salvation that we might be a HELPER, and not a HINDRANCE, as we strive for HOLINESS in 2018.

Day 7...G Words in 26 Days of Alphabetical Resoluting....

GOD is GREAT; GOD is GOOD...Let us thank Him for our food. For most of us, we cut our teeth on this little rhyming prayer. Most assuredly, GOD is GOOD & today, the Lord's Day, is G Day in my 26 days of Alphabetical Resoluting... I'm resolving to be GOOD at faithfully praising GOD in 2018...YEP!

"GREAT is our God, and GREATLY to be praised." (Psalm 48:1..And as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:31:
"Whether therefore, you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the GLORY OF GOD...

It's not for our GLORY, but the GLORY of our Creator...As James said in James 1:7:
"Every GOOD GIFT, and every GREAT GIFT is from above, and comes down from the Father Of Lights."..

GLORY to GOD in The Highest!

But, if you think about it, how can we be GOOD, without GIVING, and GIVING has it's reward, for our Lord proclaims, "GIVE and it will be GIVEN unto you, Full Measure, pressed down and running over, shall the Lord press into your bosom."...

A GOOD friend of mine is often saying, "There are two kinds of people: GIVERS & Takers, but if we do as GOD wants us to, we'll be GIVERS & GETTERS, especially of the things that really matter.

"With all your GETTING, GET Understanding." (Proverbs 4:7)

GLORIOUS GOD, I ask not for GOLD, or any other thing that will soon perish, but rather, that all the GUYS & GALS reading this will find GRACE in your sight, knowing Your Son has already conquered the GRAVE, and has ascended back to GLORY, but knowing that he GAVE us marching orders before He ascended: "GO ye into all the world and preach the GOSPEL to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." 
(MARK 16:15-16)

Praying that we have all obeyed this command, and please GRANT, O GOD, that we will all come to realize that "GODLINESS with Contentment, is GREAT GAIN." 
(1 Timothy 6:6)...
