There was no ROOM in the Inn for the Lovely ROSE OF SHARON, but Angels REJOICED.... & RIVERS OF LIVING WATER arrived gently into the world to offer us REDEMPTION, REFUGE FROM THE STORMS...& a RANSOM FOR MANY...On that First Christmas Night...Let us not forget that HE is the REASON for the Season as Christmas 2011 draws ever nearer...7 Days to Go.....Looking at 'R' Words today in my 26 Days of Christmas...MERRY CHRISTMAS ROCK OF AGES!...and All of those READING this Prayer Bathed Post....
RIGHTEOUS BRANCH, RESTORER, REDEEMER, RABBI, RULER, REFINER...Whatever the name, Jesus is more precious than RUBIES, and He alone has the Words of Life & REQUESTS to be REMEMBERED on this THE LORD'S DAY at the Supper He instituted, even before His death on the cross for us. (My father-in-law, Bill Kennedy, once told me that his favorite country song was TIS SO SWEET TO BE REMEMBERED by Hank Weisman...And Certainly our RICH REWARDER has REASON to be!!)
What does the Lord REQUIRE of us but to Do Justly, Love Mercy...& Walk Humbly with Our God...Micah 6:8.
REMEMBERING what the Apostle Peter, who our Lord gave the Keys of the Kingdom to, told the thousands assembled on Pentecost, when they asked, "What must we do?"...."REPENT & be baptized for the REMISSION of sins,"...& 3,000 obeyed the gospel call...& were added to The Church He Purchased with His Own Blood....
Aren't you glad we Serve a RISEN Savior that's in the world today...I know that He is Living, no matter what men may say. (From the song, HE LIVES)
REVERED REDEEMER, May we be REDHOT READY to RUN the RACE with RELISH, and yes, Patience also...May we REACH out to You O God, as You REACHED out to us....With Your Darling Son, In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
