Z day...Day 26 in 26 days of alphabetical resoluting...2017

Today is 'Z' Day...The ZENITH..ZERO Hour...the ZEND of my 26 Days of Alphabetical Resoluting ...& I know many of you think I've 'Gone KraZy'...LOL...Didn't have far to go & I've enjoyed the trip!!...Do Appreciate the 20 or so that have read or commented on the 25 previous posts! ZALUTE! 

Remembering a few people with a Z in their name: ZANE Grey, ZSA ZSA Gabor, ZANE Riggsby, who was from Harman, Va., where I grew up ... One other with a Z from Harman, was Stuart Elswick's mother, Ma ZENE, who lived in a house up the road from us & had a huge, in our eyes, Grape Orchard...
One night, when we were 'young & foolish', several of my friends thought it would be OK for us to cross the fence & partake of a few grapes...
It wasn't long til we heard,KABOOM!!!!…

We could see Ma ZENE silhouetted in the dim light of her porch light.... Smoking shotgun in her hand! 

ZOUNDS! Glad that ZINGER ZIPPED by us!!!! And she didn't have a Night Scope to ZOOM in on us!…LOL...

Ma ZENE may have just shot up in the air to scare us & our young minds may have over-reacted as we squirmed our way out of her orchard....My last experience with taking something without permission…or invitation…

I am Resolved to live life ZEALOUSLY & ZESTFULLY in 2017, prayerfully seeking God's Guidance Daily.... Strongly believing it is Impossible to have a Good Time without God!

Hot-Diggity-Dog! ZIGGITY Boom! What you do to me...Remembering that song fondly, as well as ZIPPITY-Do-Dah…..

But the song, WE'RE MARCHING TO ZION really resonates with me...The Chorus goes: We're Marching to ZION, Beautiful, Beautiful ZION; We're Marching Upward to ZION, The Beautiful City of God……

1 Peter 2:6: . Behold, I lay in ZION a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.

Romans 10:22 .. For I testify about them that they have a ZEAL for God, but not according to knowledge: Knowledge is defined as Information gained and preserved....And it is only obtained through Study as Paul tells Timothy in 2 Tim.2:15: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

(Praying daily for the intestinal fortitude to Study to gain knowledge... & use it wisely in sharing with others)

Titus 2:14: Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own passion, ZEALOUS for good works.

I am so thankful that I don't have 'Any' belief whatsoever in ZEUS, the so-called King of the gods in mythology..... or signs of the ZODIAC....

God's Sun came up this Thursday morning & this is all the sign I need.

Little ZIP! Little Fire!....Hum Babe!

{Planning to take 5 days off with the alphabetical thing, but pick back up on February 1 to start with 26 days of alphabetical Valentining....& then 26 days of Springing in March, Showering in April, Flowering in April...

Hey! I might just get all of the months alphabetized.}...LOL

Day 20...T words 2017

My 'T' Words Resolution for January 20, 2017, THE day of TRUMP’S Inauguration, is THE same as Proverbs 3:5: TRUST in THE Lord with all THINE heart; and lean not on THINE own understanding. In all THY ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct THY path..

Strongly believe THAT Almighty God sent George Washington to carve out of the wilderness our beloved America & THAT He has sent Donald J. Trump TODAY, in answer to THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of prayers prayed from TEAR-Stained pillows asking God To heal our land. 

TODAY is TRUMP'S Day...Praying earnestly THAT he will TAKE Care, TAKE Charge...& TAKE Control of our greaT land, while TRUSTING in Almighty God…(Most all of his Cabinet picks believe strongly in God also & THIS is heartening.)..

And as TRUMP says, his Victory is for the Forgotten Man and Woman...as he overcame the Media....the Polls... & Hollywood….LOL

Speaking of TIME, I'm TOLD that Queen Elizabeth said THIS on her death bed:

"All my Possessions for 'One More Minute of TIME',"...

Seems TO me THAT we all get suckered into THINKING THAT we're going to live forever on THIS earth…

I was with my Dad, Earl G. Fields, when he took his last breath on earth in 1995 at BRMC.

Dad had fought Emphysema…& Black Lung for 20 years… 

it was with an extremely labored breath that Dad was able to ask the doctor one question before his spirit left his body: 

“How M-m-m u-u-c-c-hh t-t-i-m-e h-haavvee I got left Ddoc?”

(The doctor took a philosophical stance and said: “No one knows that.”) 

Evidently, Dad didn’t like that, but when you can’t breathe…. you can’t argue…. or question even…

Dad lived just a very short TIME after THAT...

Ecclesiastes 3:1: "TO every THING THERE is a season, and a TIME TO every purpose under heaven."..And then THE writer says in chapter 9: 10-12, THAT TIME and Chance happen TO us all, and THAT whatever our hand find TO do, TO do it with 'All our Might'...For man knows not his TIME.

Psalm 126:5: THEY THAT sew in TEARS shall Reap in Joy.

Psalm 56:8a: THOU TELLEST my wanderings; put my TEARS into THY bottle.

James 1:13: Let no man say when he is TEMPTED, I am TEMPTED of God; for God cannot be TEMPTED with evil, neither TEMPTETH He any man

Hebrews 9:16-17: For where a TESTAMENT is, THERE must also of necessity be the death of THE TESTATOR; For a TESTAMENT is of force after men are dead; otherwise, it is of no strength at all while THE TESTATOR liveth. 

(Jesus gave THE TERMS of pardon TO receive Salvation in His 'Great Commission' as recorded by the Gospel writers)...But since the Book of Acts TELLS how it began TO be carried out, THE 'New TESTAMENT, or Will, was revealed here by the Apostles, & especially Luke, who addresses the Book of Luke To THEOPHILUS, which means 'Lover of God'...Hope & Pray THAT would be us! 

Luke 6:32: For if ye love THEM which love you, what THANK have ye? For sinners also love THOSE THAT love THEM.

2 Cor. 5:17: THEREFORE, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old THINGS are passed away; behold, all THINGS are become new.

Rev. 22:14: Blessed are THEY THAT do His commandments, THAT THEY might have a right TO THE TREE of Life, and may enter in THROUGH THE gates into THE City.

Psalm 119:59: I THOUGHT on my ways, and TURNED my feet unto THY TESTIMONIES.

Day 24...X words 2017

Today is 'X' Day in my Alphabetical Resoluting..In 2017..Resolving to do as Paul says to do in Phillipians 4:8: “Think about things that are XCELLENT…I have heard it said that Life is Like an XTENSION ladder…that we need to XTEND ourselves & 'Rise above XPECTATIONS....LOL

XALTING Him to First Place...Then X will hit the spot...

Getting into XERCISING our bodies & XORCISING our demons... XPRESSING a Good Attitude toward God & Others …..while Pressing on toward the mark for the Prize of the High Calling of God in Jesus Christ. (Phil. 3:14)...

Giving a little XTRA that we might be XTRAORDINARY at something beneficial…..

Even though my wife tells me:

"Get yourself X-Rayed and see what people see in you!" LOL…

Remembering that I don't hafta be an XSpurt, cause an EX is a 'has-been' & a Spurt is a 'drip' under pressure...

Just read about a Persian king named XERXES, who ruled Persia from 486-465. He commanded an army approaching a million in number, and once after failing to cross the Hellenesport in Greece, due to a storm & bridge failure, actually had the waters lashed by his men.. Even putting shackles on the water….LOL...

The water had to be XTREMELY terrified of XERXES!

Praying that those with X-RATED mouths will reconsider their word choices, and the XTENT of the impact on others...

The English language has So Many Great.... Uplifting, XCELLENT…. & Positive Words!
