HOWDY PARDNER! PRAYING YOU ARE HAVING A PERFECTLY PLEASANT, PLEASING KIND OF A ‘SUNSHINY DAY’.....Day 16...P Words

I've heard it said many times that we've got to 'PAY the PRICE' for Success...Coaches will scrunch up their face & really say it with PASSION..."No PAIN No Gain!....And while this may be true to a certain extent, I really believe the 'Exact Opposite' is true...We PAY the PRICE for Failure...& Enjoy the PRICE we PAY for Success! Those who are PAYING the PRICE for their sins, and we all do eventually, certainly find PLEASURE for a season, as Hebrews 11:25 tells us 'There is PLEASURE in sin for a season'...Knowing also that PROVERBS 21:17 says: "He that loves PLEASURE shall be a POOR man."

PRAYING PASSIONATELY that we can do as PAUL instructed in Hebrews 12:1 "Run with PATIENCE the race that is set before you."

PROVERBS 4:26: "PONDER the PATH of your feet, and let all your ways be established."...& as the PSALMIST says in 119:105: "Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my PATH."...

Just as Moses was instructed to make all things according to the PATTERN, PRETTY sure we have the only PERFECT PATTERN to go by in God's POWERFUL word, which PAUL said in Hebrews 4:12, is quick and POWERFUL & PIERCING..And is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart...

Ephesians 6:4: "And, you fathers, PROVOKE not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

James 3:17: "But the wisdom that is from above is first PURE, then PEACEABLE, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without PARTIALITY and hypocrisy."

May we all seek healing from The Great PHYSICIAN in 2014, and find PEACE and PARDON in the PEARL of Great PRICE, which I believe to be the Church Christ PURCHASED with His own blood...

Hoping to discover more things that are PRAISEWORTHY in 2014...Ready to PULL...or PUSH, as situations, circumstances, & oPPortunities PRESENT themselves...LOL....

PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE.....I certainly need to PLAN better!

PICK me! PICK me! Most of us have lived through days where this was common on PLAYGROUNDS...The leader PICKS two captains & they take turns PICKING their team... while everyone else stood there hoping to be PICKED....
Like the fellow said once: "I was always the Last one to get PICKED, and the First one to strikeout!"...LOL...

This was my Father-In-Law's (Bill Kennedy) favorite scripture to quote to PEOPLE:..... Revelation 22:18-19:
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the PROPHECY of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the PLAGUES that are written in this book.
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this PROPHECY, God shall take away his PART out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."....

Jesus also said in Revelation 21:8... "All liars shall have their PART in the lake of fire which burns forever and ever." (Scary stuff here...We better be careful!)...

In PHILLIPIANS 4:7 PAUL told the PHILLIPIANS..."And the PEACE of GOD, which PASSES all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."

And certainly the Apostle PAUL was the greatest POSSIBILITY Thinker that ever walked on God's Footstool, for he also said in PHILLIPIANS 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me."...

PRAYING we can all find PRAISEWORTHY PURSUITS on this PRETTY day the Lord has made....May we load up on PATIENCE,PEACE, & the other 7 ‘Fruits of the Spirit’, against which there is no law, and PERHAPS cut back a little on fruits like PEACHES, PEARS, PINEAPPLES, PLUMS & PERSIMMONS....LOL.....Corn

Momma called me 'Corn'........ the day I was born;
Poppa picked the banjer and brother blew a horn;
Sissy sang a song ...........and uncle danced a jig-
Aunty baked cornbread and Grandpa killed a pig.
"It's amazin'...I can't believe it!" ...............said Cousin Peg,
When I climbed out of my corncrib, and stood on one leg-
I laughed and yelled...our hound dog heeled...
And the Ears of Corn giggled in our cornfield.
I was hungry for corn.................. right off the bat,
To the cornfield I crawled, wearin' Poppa's old hat.
Granny smoked her corncob pipe & some came to gawk-
At a baby eatin' corn..........................right off the stalk!
I ate a dozen ears..........And weaved a 'Wig of Silk';
Then I found the Jersey cow & drank a pail of milk.
All of this happened..... the day I was born....

My Hostess, Twinkies, Ding Dongs, & Little Debbies....They Comfort me....Yea! Surely I could eat the wheels off a Little Debbie Truck...They annointeth my body with Calories....My Scale Tippeth Over...Surely Chubbiness & Contentment shall follow me all the days of my life....AND I SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF MRS. FIELDS COOKIES....FOREVER! LOL
